Angel Food Cake French Toast with Raspberries & Nutella


So yesterday I had an idea... I had some left over angel food cake that was a few days old and I was trying to think of a way not to waste it. THEN it came to me. Angel Food Cake French Toast... with a twist.

SO I sliced the angel food cake, dipped it in egg, fried it in a pan with butter until each side was crispy, slathered Nutella in between two pieces, added ice cream, raspberries and a sprinkle of powder sugar. 

And it was the best dessert I've made... maybe this year. 

Voila!!! Delicious, re-usable cake.

I'm sure you could do this with many other cakes as well... Maybe one day I'll try chocolate!
