The Little Things

Thursday, May 13, 2010

I've been trying to keep busy these days so I can be surprised the day this little girl comes, instead of pacing the house. I have been working on some new creative things (and booking weddings for the fall) so I'm not too crazy yet.
Here's a little peak into my baby world. I have to admit- it has been fun decorating, dreaming, creating, styling, accessorizing a new world for this little life.

Here I am, I think around week 30ish...

Ok, welcome to the nursery/guest bedroom... The color is a warm mocha-brown, but is a little greenish in these photos... I'm sure you get the idea.

This bed was an old 80's style silver and gold framed bed- I spray-painted the headboard and spray-painted the antique clock on the wall (which I got a the flea market years ago). And the light is Ikea.

This is my favorite part of the room... the changing station.

and the lambie...

and little diapers

Pacie-jar

Moses Basket for our room.

Found these in the attic of my parents house... sophisticated Rabbit couple.

Painting by yours truly.

Found these shoes at a consignment shop... Prada baby shoes!

These are "green diapers" or g-diapers. I'm not fully committing to clothe diapering, but I'm willing to try them out and see if I can handle it. (and I can't resist cute things)

I LOVE organizational boxes... Target. Would it be weird if I told you at the end of every day I go in this closet and move things around, and smell the baby powder in here?

Sweet cards given by sweet people.

Car seat and little Hollingsworth's baby to-go bag for when it's Go-Time!

This might be my favorite baby item. I love this stroller. I got this online- it's an Indie Bumbleride, it was an open-box sale i LOOOOOVE it. (thanks Grandmother and Mother)

Huckabee is upset he can't get in it. Huckabee is probably about to be upset about a lot of things.

Reading Station

Who knows, maybe the next blog will be the little Miss... I sure hope so.
Stay Tuned!

Engaged! Pam & Yuri

I had the privilege of shooting engagement pictures for Pam & Yuri... a couple getting married in September. I LOVE these photos... they are such a beautiful couple- they look like a Ralph Lauren ad in some of these. I did a little more in black & white shades to go with Pam's classic grace... Enjoy!

This one is edited to give the feeling of being under water... I'd like to be under water right now!

I love this one for fun!

Visit their gallery to see the whole shoot! I can't wait to do Pam's bride-to-be photos later this summer. Now go sit outside and enjoy some lemonade!
