Ashlee & James: Part 2 Wedding & Party time

Thursday, August 12, 2010

This is the story of an Irish musician and and American singer getting together. (insert quip about making sweet music) Ashlee and James are not just newlyweds, they are a band... Check out their new release on their website Matrimony! So it was only fitting that there be musical touches mingled through their wedding.

Starting with the ceremony...

Wedding party waiting in the green room...

Some of the groomsmen played instruments as they walked down the aisle, adding a beautiful sound with each step. I loved that!

This is the coolest arbor I've ever seen!!! Handmade by Piper Laine Designery and Ginger Hussey.

I love this wedding party shot...

I love this sweetheart table.

This could be my favorite detail of the wedding. They took prints from song sheets and turned them into cones to hold rose petals to throw at the end...

Love this dance photo...

And goodbye in a late night carriage!!

As promised, here is Part 1 of Ashlee & James' wedding. I'll tell you more about them in the next post. But in the meantime, take a look at these details...

If you'd like to contact any of the designers for this wedding, let me know.
Event Design: Ginger Hussey
Wedding Cupcakes: Megan Hussey
Invitations and Paper Press: Piper Laine Designery

I adore everything about this wedding! Starting with the invitations...

And this ring is my favorite so far...

A Wedding in an outdoor theatre!

Handmade poms EVERYWHERE!!! :) You can get the instructions from Martha Stewart Living, of course.

I love the usage of signs ...

For the reception they used books, little vases, monogrammed anthropologie cup arrangements and vintage tablecloths to achieve this look. A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.

I love the minty colors.

The Ladies.

The Gentlemen.

There's a reason some of them are holding instruments... and I'll tell you the next post. It just gets better. :)
