Remember the darling Kate? (More from her bridal shoot)
Well... this is John and Kate plus 8... bridesmaids and groomsmen. (I am a sucker for puns)
John and Kate were married on the modern rooftop of the Mint Museum of Craft and Design in uptown Charlotte. What a cool rooftop! The heat surely didn't hold anyone back from partying!
Kate's theme was modern with a bit of earthy element. Of course because Kate works for Ikea there were the Swedish market's touches everywhere. She even had a lounge set up on the rooftop for guests to watch the ceremony... lounge furniture provided by Ikea via the girls at By Design. Pam Baily, the florist, (website coming soon) did an amazing job. There were trees on the tables with little modern wire birds nests and handmade, patterned bird cut outs. (that kate made). It was so adorable. And one of my favorite ideas, sticking to the "tree" theme, was the advice tree. All the guests pinned their marriage advice to a little tree- great idea! Kate is so artsy, she made the coolest little memory montage book I've ever seen. There's a picture down below. What a creative, fun rooftop wedding!
These are gorgeous and her bridesmaids dresses are stunning! How exciting!
I love all of these. Especially the branchy frame thing.
