Summer

I need it. I need to dip my toes in the water, and touch the sand. I need my skin to darken and my cheeks kissed rosy. I need the barefoot walks outside and the days lounging in my bathing suit. I need flip flops, ice cream, and summer parties. I need screaming little babies in cold water outdoor baths. I need backyard bbqs and front porch swings with sweet tea. Summer, I need you, and I'm so afraid though it's hot, it's still going to feel like winter inside.
