If I am anything good, it is because of my mother. My mother is not just a wonderful mom, but she is a supreme artist, designer and friend. I've never had a better friend than my mom. I could do a thousand posts about what she means to me.
This is her little studio where she paints and plays. My childhood is filled with watching my mother move color around on canvases. I distinctly remember her painting on the sun porch where we grew up, mixing cerulean blue and windsor red on her palette. She made me alive to color and be the artist I am today with deep appreciation for all things beautiful.
Beyond her creativity, I'd be a melted puddle without her. I don't know if I would have survived my life, especially pregnancy and new motherhood without her relentless care & compassion.
Thanks mom, you are my inspiration. With a good mom, you can be anything.
